Inspection Fees
Home inspection companies set their fees using several different formulas. Some home inspectors set their pricing by charging a percentage of the cost of the house; some use a unit per square footage of the house.
Additional services, such as Radon testing, Septic or Mold inspections can add to the overall price. These are just a few examples, but, no matter what formula the inspector uses, the cost of the inspection is minor compared to the cost of the house and the fee paid for other services related to purchasing a home.
