TESTING FOR MOLD
The First Point about Testing for Mold is; Don't say its Mold until its tested. It may look like Mold, smell like Mold, but is it actually Mold???
Testing for Mold is done only after you do a proper evaluation and history of the conditions leading up to the point you felt their was a concern.
Use of swabs and/or tape lifts have their place in the testing for Mold, but testing using high quality air cassettes to capture what actually you are breathing is the most important.
NOW, this comes to an important point. Would your rather test yourself, possibly use someone that uses tape or kits that is not properly trained?
OR Use a Professional Mold Inspector with the Education and Yearly Training, years of Field Training and the proper equipment to give you a detailed evaluation of your home or office.
