What I Inspect

What to expect from your Inspection

As a Professional Home Inspector, I have the knowledge and expertise to provide you with a thorough, non-intrusive, visual inspection of your home, from foundation to roof top.

Outside the home, I will check the grounds, exterior walls, roof, driveway, deck, and related areas. Then I will move inside to examine the interior walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and windows. The heating, air-conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems will be examined to ensure that they function as intended. Bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms receive a thorough check, along with the attic and basement or crawl space.

Below are some of the items I will be looking at during the property inspection:
  • Foundation and support structure
  • Fireplaces (excludes the flue)
  • Roof systems
  • Moisture intrusion
  • Water heater
  • Ventilation
  • Electrical capacity & components
  • Structural integrity, walls & floors
  • Steps and stairs
  • Heating system
  • Central Air Conditioning system
  • Walks and driveways
  • Exterior and interior covering
  • Plumbing system & fixtures
  • Attached garages & carports
  • Surface drainage
  • Windows & doors
  • Insulation
  • Gutters & downspouts
  • Decks
What a Home Inspection IS NOT:
  • It is not a Pest Control Certification
  • It is not a Well/Septic/Drain Field Inspection
  • It is not a Warranty or Guarantee of the Home
  • A Predition of when any House Component or System will Fail
